Just so everyone knows, this is to raise money for the Civil War Trust to purchase the property. The Trust is a quality organization that has saved huge amounts of threatened battlefield property. |

I donated to this specific appeal last week. It is a good cause and CWT has one of the lowest operating costs of any non-profit organization, so you know that most of your money is going towards the purchase of the land. |

No the battle did occur over a portion of the creek but NOT in the town of Sharpsburg. Murphy you know words have meaning, I have seen you use that line elsewhere. |

If you want to get southern money for this project, accepting that Confederates gave the battle a different name is a small price to pay. |
