The model aircraft kits that SWEET produces are very very nice, and you did a great job at putting yours together.

I noticed your removed the props though.

My understanding is the B model was the ultimate dog fighting P-51. Drawbacks were the jam prone machine guns due to the canted installation of the (only four) 0.50 weapons within the thinner wings, pilot visibility and the very uncomfortable, unadjustable (considering the long mission duration)pilot's seat back.

The D model's extra 85 gallon fuselage mounted fuel tank created quite a balancing act for their pilots to contend with.

I just purchased a Revell 1/144 P-51B model this past weekend.

I'd be hard pressed to match the quality of Kevin's examples.
