It is very cool. I have an issue of National Geographic around here somewhere that details the town. I would absolutely love to walk those streets. Thanks for sharing. |

Those are actually very nice, clean ruins. I'm used to seeing cities whose modern buildings have demolished or covered over Roman ones (or Ostia (silted over) or Pompeii with half a mountain thrown on top). I wonder what about it's location didn't make it good for future habitation that would have covered it up. Thanks for sharing. Would definitely like to visit! |
