Our Perilous Island campaign has arrived at the gates of the Forbidden City, and you may see the complete AAR on Imgur here: imgur.com/a/Wzjm9

Thanks,

"But the badass Golden Guardian just rolled over and died quietly ??!?"

The Guardian has the Noblesse ability, which means he/it cannot be taken out of action unless somebody in contact with it while it's down faces a random peril to administer the Coup-de-Grace. If that is done, however, the Guardian goes out of action without getting a Recovery Roll. So, yeah, once we got the thing down (which took four turns of nonstop violence) and Officer Fred put a bullet in its noggin, it was through. Glad you like the photos!

The Guardian didn't go down THAT quietly. It did take down one character, who ran up with the intent of drawing the Guardian away from the gate. So we were using a combination of template weapons and Rope-a-dope. But that one shot taking it down from d12 to d10 Health was key.

Very cool Pulp Alley battle report! This scenario is definitely easier when the leagues cooperate.
