Using a model from the excellent Langton Miniatures Anglo-Dutch range in 1:1200, I've added this medium sized Warship to my Danish navy for a growing Scanian War collection.

Thanks guys, really appreciate all the kind comments!

The Scanian War was most of all a peripheral war caused by France's network of alliances. It was fought far away in the Nordic region, while Louis XIV was waging his wars down in central Europe – but the war actually defined the current border between Denmark and Sweden, and was the hardest fought contest ever between these two brotherly people.

Thanks for all the visits to the blog – history is nothing without interested readers :0)
