Hi Can someone tell me in what role were the 300+ C-L MkVI were used by the British army ? Which units were they issued to ? TIA |

All sorts afaik – the British in the late '20s and early '30s were very much experimenting with mechanisation, and as one of the more available platforms the Mk.VI was heavily used. With that said, the main roles seem to have been recce vehicle and gun tow (especially for 3.7" howitzers) – it doesn't actually seem to have been much used as a machine-gun platform per se. |
