…And Genetic Weapons?. "Future wars will have much more devastating weapons than airstrikes, tanks and even nuclear weapons. Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations warned about new threats, including geophysical and genetic weapons that could pose threats to Russia's well-being in the future. Future weapons will be based on energy, electromagnetic, radiological, geophysical and genetic principles. There will also be special information weapons to change people's perception, completely changing their mind, the Ministry said. Geophysical weapons that can alter the weather were already talked about in the past. People even wondered whether some hurricanes and earthquakes were "natural" disasters, speculating that it was possible to alter the climate and set off earthquakes using electromagnetic fields. These deadly weapons of the future will target main control centers, essential facilities, technology, infrastructure and population…" Full article here link Amicalement Armand |

Paranoia Most Hurricanes carry the equivalent of megatons of energy. The Tsunami of 2004 was triggered by an earthquake with 23,000 times the energy of the Hiroshima and Hagasaki weapons. The energy that would be needed to trigger some sort of event would be easily detectable. It is a way to blame the enemy for natural events |

Not specifically mentioned in the article, but the idea of genetic weapons that can target specific genomes and are capable of 'mass application' is terrifying. I have no idea of the plausibility of such a weapon, but suspect (and hope) that the mass application part will ultimately make such weapons impractical. But even the idea of a weapon capable of wiping out a significant proportion of a specific race, ethnicity, clan, or perhaps even a specific bloodline, is terrible to even think about. There are no shortage of people willing to completely wipe out 'them' – whoever they may be, and who would do so without qualms given half a chance. |
