Good overview from the photos numbers seem a little down on last year. Was there much in the way of ancient/medieval apart from DBA?

There was a gladiators demo game that I saw, and heaps of 15mm and 6mil ancients in the bring and buy. Maybe there was more today…

Supposedly be an Impetus comp as well.

McWong7304 Oct 2015 3:47 p.m. PST

The Sword and Spear and Impetus comp was downstairs with the Xwing, Infinity and Warmachine comp. Only 28 for Flames, which only reflects the bulk of former players having to deal with real life, or rather about twenty of us decided to start families over the past six years!

Sparks, saw you playing the BA demo and felt it would be rude to interrupt your game, so apologies for not saying hello.

Great write up of Sydney's biggest con. Real shame to see less players than previous years, but I know that reflects a demographic hiccup than any "death of the hobby" nonsense.

It was a great convention. The numbers were much higher than last year from what I saw – so good that the popularity in gaming is steadily increasing. So many things to do & see and so little time to get around everywhere :)

There were indeed Gladiators, as is now traditional on the Saturday:

On the Monday I played in the HOTT tournament. It's certainly a lot quieter on the Monday than on the Saturday.

The Napoleonic game scenario was "Montmirail". using Commit the Guard rules.
