It's Zomtober once again and that means a month's worth of painting up some zed-related miniatures. This year I've gone for the theme of "Dr Who & The Seeds of Doom" and hope to play a game of "Zombicide" inspired by the TV serial at the end of the month. As a result I'll be using "Crooked Dice" minis to represent the Krynoid, survivors and plant-zombies, as well as some "Mantic Games" plastic scenery for Chase Manor. Fingers crossed it'll all come together in just over four weeks time.

For those interested I'd greatly appreciate your support and comments here or on my blog: link

I wish you the best of luck, Simon. This looks like a very exciting project.

Seeds of Doom is one of the best of the Tom Baker series – I hope you're using the Crooked Dice United Radionics for Chase and Scorbie.

Best regards,
Keith F.

Many thanks indeed, and yes I am going with United Radionics for Chase and Scorby, Keith :-)

I've just updated my blog with the first of my finished Krynoid-inspired Spawn and posted some more WIPs, including the human villains of the piece.

The fourth weekend for Zombtober is fast approaching, so I'm steadily painting a number of Harrison Chase's hapless staff and some formidable-looking partially-mutated planet-zombies 'Fatties'..?

The fifth and final weekend for Zombtober is upon us, and I've managed to finish Harrison Chase, as well as another of the botanist's hapless 'infected' minions…
