Hi,

I'm going to be using these Casualty Markers in the Hastings Demo game scheduled for Salute next year. There will be two markers for each unit; one for the Ceorls in the back ranks, one for the Thegns/Huscarls to the fore of the Ceorls.

I reckon they've turned out quite well and won't be too unsightly on the table top when placed next to the units. Better than putting dice on the table- especially at a demo game where one want to maximise the visual impact of the game and not clutter the table up.

As usual. you can read about the processes behind the ideas and see many more pics on my Just Add Water Blog here:

Cheers,
Darrell.

Hastings??

Why do you ask? If you read my blog you will find out why I chose such miniatures for the vignettes ;>)

I freely admit that using the Artizan (and Foundry) and Gripping Beast (and Old Glory) Beserker mini's is pushing things. They were just so nice that I couldn't resist.

The other two vignettes are pretty spot on as I've carved away the back of the Romanesque type helms that were on the miniatures and sculpted hair instead.

Darrell.
