Hello,
Where can I get 28mm and 40mm structures for the battles in Portugal and Spain?
Thank you

I made mine using the modular buildings from Warbases.

Grand Manner have an excellent range for the Iberian Peninsula. They have a rather large footprint but are first class models. AGV Models also have a smaller range.

I agree with Artilleryman, Grand Manner.

I should add that I helped sculpt some GM models.

Or try making some. I have made 4 small mediterranean buildings, and intend to make a few more. I started with small structures, and intend to make some larger one's next.

The Hovels 28mm Spanish/Mediterranean village buildings are excellent and have relatively small footprints.

They can be seen in use in this old battle report on Sacile, 1809 (acting as Italian buildings):

Hello,
Does the Hovel 28mm work well with 40mm figures?

The Hovels buildings are very nice but in my opinion are too small for 40mm Figures.

If one were just using them as representative of a town area and the goal was to have a small footprint on the table then they will work.

If scale relationship between the figures and the buildings is important – they will not work.

I wouk\ld agree they are small for 40mm figures, but work very ni\cely with 25/28mm

If you live in the UK, Paul Davies (whose book "Battlefields in Miniature" has just come out with Pen & Sword) did me a series of about 20 peninsula buildings for a very reasonable price. A couple of them are visible in Miniature Wargames & Battlegames No 370 pp 54-5.
You have to tell him what you want though; I sent him photos I found in books and on websites. His email is sales@paulsmodellingworkshop.com.
