So I just got the first part of a Perry order from the Warstore. Beautiful, crisp castings! |

Or was it a pack that was missing for years that someone just found? |

Or, realist? Time will tell, I guess. |

Hope the castings are better. I ordered $400 USD worth of ACW figures that are taking about a hour each to prep. Heavy mold lines and lumps of lead under hands and cartridge boxes where the molds have deteriorated. I won't be making that mistake again. |

The last Perry metals I received – WW2 Brits & French – were quite crisp; much better than the late medievals I got from them a couple of years ago, some of which were more flash than man. So perhaps they've gotten the QC issue under control. |

I won't be making that mistake again. Don't make it the first time. Complain and ask for replacement figures. There is no reason on earth, why it should take an hour to prep a brand new casting. I'll tell you from experience that Allan pays attention here and that an email to him will get a quick and cooperative reply. He is a real gentleman and will attempt to fix your problem. Try it, you'll end up satisfied. |

Yea, having to spend 60 minutes on each figure to clean flash and other defects as way too much, in my humble opinion. |

Received a couple of Battalions of Hungarian Fusiliers and they where perfect no flaws – my first Perry's. |

I have had good luck with have my figures replaced if they were poorly cast. An hour per figure is too long. Just send an email with photos of the castings to the Perrys and they will make it right. |

Extrabio1947, I has exactly the same thing with Union marching figures. It must be that the casts are worn out. Maybe the newer releases are better in that case. I avoid them generally but if they do Napoleonic Saxons in metal, I will try to get the order in quick |

I would have returned those and requested replacements in a flash. |

As above raise it with the Perrys and they will resolve the issue for you – they are very good at sorting out problems with castings. Fingers crossed that this marks an overall improvement in their casting quality. |

Agree on the Perrys being very responsive to quality issues with their minis. Also, having just received a shipment of AWI minis, gotta say they look great and crisp. The horsemen too, being one piece castings. I remember such figures were the focus of big complaints a few months ago; mine are in perfect condition, no bending on the horeses' legs etc. Just the expected bends on swords (which have thin blades), but nothing not easily fixed in a few moments. Thumbs up for the Perrys!!!! |

Just received 2 packs which were EA3 and EA21 from the European armies line. The EA21 handgunners were OK, but the EA3 advancing pikemen had excess metal which had to be cut away. Not as bad as packs I got in the past though. This pose must be difficult to cast. |
