There's no requirement to post a teaser pick on your TMP post indicating you have a blog update. But shouldn't you anyway? I'm seeing more and more "Check out my x: Link" posts with no previews. Is it that one doesn't know how to post a picture here or is it a sneaky manipulative way to get blog hits? |

Who really cares about blog hits? |

There is no obvious way to post images. I had to search for a how to . I think I found it on the FAQ |

There is no obvious way to post images. Images How can I put a picture into my posts? Just type the photo's URL in your message, with nothing in front or behind it. The server will automatically convert the URL into a photo. So if you type (for instance): TMP link Seems pretty obvious to me. |

I have noticed that, too. And posting pics isn't hard. As MajorB pointed out, it's covered under FAQ. |

I generally don't bother looking at those kinds of links – it does come across as being a bit lazy and self-centred. Having said that, I'll be the first to admit that I post shiny things in the hope of luring unsuspecting travellers to my blog! |

This not very high on the list of things that me off. |

It doesn't matter to me in the least if a photo is posted. If it is the right subject, I'll go look. I just appreciate that the person took the time to put a post on their blog and share their efforts. I don't require them to meet any sort of criteria, before expending all that effort to click the mouse. |

It really is time that we could post pictures directly onto TMP. I don't particularly want to have to set up a separate Photobucket or Flickr account just to put photos on TMP. I save my stuff on a local external drive and on One Drive. I use the iPad a lot, when I sell stuff on EBay I just select the pics from my iPad and they are automatically loaded into the item description. I can also do that from my Windows PC, so having to mess about copying and pasting urls is so last century! Perhaps TMP4.0 ???????????? |

I would prefer that same thing, steamingdave47, and asked Bill that question a short time back: TMP link … however, his reply was that he didn't know. I also primarily use an Ipad or my phone and don't prefer using any online image hosting service. |

I agree with you irishserb. It's no effort to click a mouse button. If the subject matter appeals to me I'll click on the link. Pics are nice, but not required. And i don't mind if someone is luring me to their blog site for hits. I myself use th e hits to motivate me to paint and finish projects. Since so few people comment on posts (myself included) I look at hits on my blog to tell me if people are interested in what I am doing. The more hits the more I tend to enjoy the painting process. I don't require them to paint.. but it somehow helps. |

It really is time that we could post pictures directly onto TMP. I don't particularly want to have to set up a separate Photobucket or Flickr account just to put photos on TMP. We've had this discussion before. Pictures are relatively big. Space is cheap but not free. If you want to be able to upload pictures directly onto TMP, I'm sure Bill could provided such a service in TMP 4.0 if you were prepared t pay him for it. Alternatively, just use any free storage out there on the 'net It doesn't have to be Flickr or Photobucket. It could be your blog or a free web site. |

I agree with the OP. If people don't post a pic or two, or more than a line or two of verbiage with just a link, I rarely click on them, unless I'm really interested in the subject matter. |

I also primarily use an Ipad or my phone and don't prefer using any online image hosting service. Apparently, you would prefer to use TMP as your online image hosting service. |
