I need to equip a ton of figures with 25mm scale bows. I'd like to avoid having to buy a ton of figures just for the weapons, so does anyone know a place that sells just bows? Google keeps sending me to real bowyers. I could always get some plastic card and bend, but buying made is always easier. |

Essex sells various weapons, including bows: link Gripping Beast also sells weapons. I've bought their swords years ago, and the metal was rather more flexible than I like. link Finally, Reaper sells weapon packs, some of which include bows, but these tend to come in with one each of various weapons, instead of allowing you to buy 20-30 bows at one time. The Elven weapons pack does have 3-4 bows: link If you live anywhere near north Texas, go to ReaperCon, where you might be able to buy just the bows, assuming they still do what they did 6-7 years ago. You can look on eBay and see if you can find any lots of Wargames Factory weapons for sale. You could also cast your own! It would probably be the cheapest method, depending upon how many you need. (you did state, "a ton") There is a maker of foot knights – it is from the USA, I believe, but I cannot remember their name – they also make bowmen. The knights are only one pose but they have separate weapons sprues. They did not look very good at all, so I avoided them. I wonder if their bowman have separate bows too? (You could buy individual sprues of each.) Maybe someone on here remembers who they are? |

Nice find, Wmyers! I also like their longbowmen…not a bad price. |
