Great looking table! Nice blog too. It sounds like you had a fun game. Those Skraelings can kick butt, you were fortunate to win with the Vikings. |

What rules are you using for your battles? |

I used cp models miniatures for the skraelings. There are several manufacturers available, but these were the best deal I could get. 21 of them were $40 USD US shipped from the uk. They have open hands allowing you to swap weapons around to get variation which was a big bonus! link Footsore miniatures does some as well. And there are lots of cavemen figures with stone weapons that would be suitable. I play using the LOTR SBG rules with my custom profiles |

Great battle report! Thanks for sharing it. I love your terrain mat. Could you please tell how you made it? |
gjlsnowman | 17 Oct 2015 8:18 p.m. PST |
The terrain mat is a canvas painters drop cloth. I just coat the whole thing with brown caulking and then cover it with assorted gravels and flocks while it is still wet. The next day just coat the whole thing with a matte clear spray paint to stick everything down. That's it! really easy for good results. I am planning on making a winter landscape one soon and I'll post a tutorial then. |
