I posted an event on here that happened in St Clair county Alabama in the late 1870s. It was very much of a wild west shootout.
Corrupt law and supporters versus a family of brothers and cousins who were at odds with the current power brokers in the area.
I got the sequence of events out of a newspaper account that was part of a book on local history after the war.

So yes you can get a number of scenarios from newspaper accounts of the ers.

I'm confused. Are you talking about a specific set of rules? 4.0 something? Though if there is a 4.0 for the wild west ruleset I don't think I'm going anywhere near them. Really, four versions? The old west is too easy going as a gaming area for that, isn't it? Well, I think so.
