It sounds like you could have won handily, but opted not to unleash the M60s for the sake of the game. Tell me more about the scenario. Did you think it was unbalanced? |

Thanks for looking Ben. I was always going to adapt the amount of reserves that I received in relation to what the oppo was doing and to how the battle was moving along. I think that if the Poles had managed to release their Armoured Btln it would have been more interesting, especially if they hadn't lost that company of tanks so early in part 2, as they had a 'next generation' tank with better armour and gun etc to add to the fray. Indeed they were supposed to start with that but the player slated for that command didn't show so all would've been different from the off – the Austrian Panzers would deffo made an appearance then. The Poles did have a large advantage in Artillery, although I don't think they utilised it to it's maximum effect. If I were to do it again I might go with a whole Landwehr Brigade as the main Austrian force, loads of ATG and 106mmRCL with a single coy of Kurassier as well, just to see if that makes a difference. Losing the Bill ATGM would be a big evener but I think I'd not include the newer Polish kit and just have another Mech Inf Regt or an Armd Regt. The main idea was to try out the 'new' Polish units to see how they got on whilst not relying on loads of tanks to solve the tactical problem. I'll definitely be re-visiting this one day, and as I said on't blog the lads said they enjoyed playing in it. |

Thanks for the clarification. I enjoyed seeing forces other than US and Soviet. Well done. ben |
