Is there a good book concerning the artillery at Saratoga? I have the Osprey book, which is my current constant companion. Probably one of the best Osprey books ever written. But, I would like to know more about the size and locations of the guns, during the campaign. And about the men that manned them. Any suggestions? |

There are three that I'm aware of that should meet your needs:- link link link There's a quick breakdown of the TO&E of the British and Hesse Hanau artillery on the Perry Miniatures website:- link |

Be wary of Glutimus Maximus though. You mean Gluteus Maximus – the cousin I never talk about, as he can be a bit of an arse? |

The third of those links posted by Supercilious, Hadden's Journal, is superb in my view and gives you pretty much everything you need to know about the Crown forces side of this topic |

I've had Cubbisons' book since 2009. It's excellent and very helpful on the subject. |
