In case you haven't seen this site, it deals with the Canadian Army during the 20th century (from 1900 to 2000). A lot of the info deals with the two world wars, but there are sections dealing with the Cold War. There are articles on Canadian participation in various peacekeeping missions throughout the Cold War. The articles deal with Canadian participation of course, but do provide some overview of the mission and time period of such missions. In some cases maps are provided. In addition, there a unit listing by year from 1900 to 1999. link |

Thanks for sharing the link. I was looking over the "Site Map", and it appears that the Cold War peacekeeping mission in Europe has been overlooked. I couldn't find any headings for anything about that. Korea seems to be pretty well covered, as well as numerous deployments to many minor nations, but I don't really see anything much about the deployment to Europe, under NATO. NATO has a heading, but there's just general info there. Perhaps I'm just missing it, but I did look in detail for some time. |
