My friend Michael has been inducting me into the mysteries of Cold War Commander. I wanted to share a bit of our battle. Enjoy! link |

That was a great looking fight, lots of fun to read. Thanks for posting! And the Nat'l Guard need to bring some Stingers next time, and not cause of the Hinds! ;) V/R, Jack |

LOL…that was a great AAR! Very humorous, and who among us cannot relate to bad rolls, or friendly fire…Yikes? I like the idea of not knowing what your opponents objectives are. Anything to create a "fog of war" is great fun. Thanks for posting such a delightful battle-report. ben |

Thanks folks! Glad you guys enjoyed. Jack, there were stingers, but that chopper kept coming in low behind the houses and I had no line of sight! |

Prima, No man, I was saying 'not cause of the Hinds.' I didn't mean Stingers for the Hinds, I meant Stingers for the damn A-10s!!! ;) V/R, Jack |

I play CWC and collectively have seen less than 5 box car rolls in about 30 games… So when you roll 2 in a row, and the CAS is an A-10 rolling in hot… Nothing good can come of that. My suggestion is that you make the necessary sacrifices to the dice gods prior to the next game. |

Playing Steel Panthers on the PC a long time ago, holding a hill as the Marines somewhere in Korea. Called in a flight of napalm which promptly proceeded to obliterate my trench line while the Chinese looked up in amazed wonder. |

As the Soviets during this game I must point out that with the United States having horrendous luck and me, the Soviet commander, playing the game many times, it was an extremely close game. I cringe when the United States' luck returns. |

That's why the term SNAFU was invented. Anything that can go wrong will, usually at the worst possible moment. |
