… I wouldn't be here with all my troubles, down on this killing floor… Yes, wargaming is a harsh mistress. In setting up, playing and writing up this most recent Commands & Colors: Ancients game I lost track of time so comprehensively that I missed all three of Sunday's rugby world cup games! Oh well. The game was Pharsalus, played solitaire, and was a nailbiter right to the end. Mssrs Robshaw and Warburton may well have approved.
