Yesterday myself and the better half went to the Yorkshire Air Show, it had some amazing aircraft and the second to last flight of Vulcan XH558. I have a lot of pictures up on my blog for those that are interested: link Thanks for looking!

Nice shooting and great skies to show off the beautiful craft. last weekend the Vulcan flew inside the V shape formed by the Red Arrows – there should be some media shots of that – i will try and find one. |

Last flights will be 10/11th October, a tour of the North on Saturday, then the South on Sunday. Just waiting for details of the flight plans |

It'll be such a shame to see her in a museum. I have contributed over the years to keep her flying but it seems that – however much could be raised – nothing would keep the Vulcan in the air beyond this year (metal fatigue and whatnot) Very sad… John T |

Thanks guys, I am glad you liked the pics. Yep, it's a real pity to see her grounded, but a privilege to be there on one of her last flights. |

Can't believe I was unaware of this as I live pretty close, poor publicity I guess. There again if they were queuing to get in someone must have known! Looks good sad I missed it! |

The Vulcan is a magnificent sight. Don't worry John – they'll probably get her flying if the Argies get upitty again! |
