Extending my Elvish force with an elite unit of Galadhrim Warriors. Inspired by the Battle of Helm's Deep they're lead by none other than Haldir. More pics and background info on the blog: blackpowdergames.blogspot.dk |

Other than my predictable issues with the film's accuracy (no elves at Helm's deep except Legolas and those elvish 'swords' are… well I'd best not say) you've done a very nice job there. I like your Galadriel in the woods too:

Thanks guys – your words are encouraging as yet more Mirkwood elves are on the painting table. @John Treadaway: Thank you very much for the kind words John, and I'm in your ringside concerning the movie "interpretation" of Helm's Deep – I actually mention this in the blog post. I like the books a lot, but the dead don't get final cut, so the movie came out like it did I guess ;0) |

There are some very nice GW LotR figures, especially some of the Perry sculpts (and often one's not in the films – like Tom and Goldberry) but – for troops I often prefer some of the Mithril sculpts. But you're right, Chanzy: Jackson's films will have quite an effect on people's interpretation. Sadly John T |

Absolutely John, the Mithril Mini's "White Council" vignette is really amazing. |
