After finishing this novel, I feel cheated. It's as if someone at GW told Gav Thorpe to write this particular ending as to not upset the WH40K storyline or ruin their corporate IP. Not recommended!

Well Gav Thorpe has never been much liked by a good segment of the fantasy community. In my opinion, he has never genuinely understood the "fluff" ad it has been reflected in army books he's written. He's one of those guys that really needs to disappear and go find work where he doesn't damage GW's reputation any further than he has already done.

He is indeed a horrible writer.

i cant agree with Nazrat more. I read a couple of his Last Chancer books. They were awful.
