I saw the new micro machines briefly at Target, but it looked like they were possibly be 20mm (1/72). Any thoughts that some of the walkers could work with 15mm Sci-Fi?

napthyme26 Sep 2015 1:41 p.m. PST

there all different scales, the ep1 podracers I had were closer to 6-10mm

I did not see any of the walkers, but agree on the 20mm size

If anyone wants to buy packs for the fighters and such I will buy the figs off them.

The speeder bikes are to scale. The figs are about 19-21mm tall. Not 1/72. I have armies for the Clone Wars also utilizing the Risk sets. The Imperial period is moderately well covered w MM figures. The At-ST from the 54mm Star Wars Command sets is about 15mm in scale. Not sure about a 20mm one.

The Galactic Heroes AT-AT has cartoony proportions but is roughly 20mm.

Ok.. a cpl "years" late here )but I will say that was a bit of an 'issue" that eerked me about MM. The scale was all over the place.
Just a made up "for example" here; but you might have an Imp. SD oh 2in, long and an X wing ftr in the same pack almost the same size. I know, I had to remind myself, MM was strictly created as "toys" not miniatures.

On the capital ship question, I dont recall 'ever' seeing a Mon Cal cruiser in the MM line. Did they make one?

Part time gamer, they made the MC 80 Winged Liberty cruiser and the MC 80 Home One cruiser that came in the three (3) vehicle packs. They also did the MC 80b in the Legend's line. You would think they were made out of pure gold by what the go for on Ebay. You need a second mortgage on your house to afford the MC 80b now. Go to Studio Bergstrom for he has pewter versions of the Liberty and Home One at the same scale as the MM ones were and they are only $6.50 USD I think.
