Getting to be that time of the year where it is horror game time. What's your favorite and why? I have Arkham Horror, Eldritch Horror, and Mansion of Madness. I'm in interested in anything horror does not need to be Cthulhu fast play would be nice, but not necessary. cheers Duane |

We really like the Buffy the Vampire Slayer board game. It is easy to get the hang of and a lot of fun to play. |

I liked the original version of Fury of Dracula from GW. I still have part of a copy of it somewhere. One of my "friends" borrowed it and lost half of the chits. Chuck |

Zombicide. Killing zombies, oh yeah. |

Betrayal at the House on the Hill Huge replay value and it comes with some minis. I sub in DnD Miniatures where I can to get a better visual. |

Another vote for Betrayal. Mansions of Madness is a close second. We also play the digital version of Elder Sign. |

Original edition of Arkham horror is a nice quick game, and Fury of Dracula is an all time favourite (the original edition, not the revamped version of a few years back). |

Original Arkham Horror is my choice, |

Last Night On Earth is my favorite zombie boardgame — very nicely cinematic scenarios. |

Sorry, have to mention this one. Just came out this week. All Things Zombie – the "right way". YouTube link |

Another one for Betrayal. Also like Elder Sign. Easier and faster than Arkham Horror. |

Original Arkham Horror. Feature creep is an abhorrent abomination from beyond the rim of space. |

Elder sign with the dice look interesting. I'm thinking Halloween party games and that might just work. Anything else that is non-Cthulhu and zombie? |

For a party I would go for one night ultimate werewolf . I an pretty sure there is a horror themed munchkin game. I know you are not up for Cthulhu but unspeakable words is fun. As a "oh no not more zombies " game I highly recommend run fight or die we currently play this a lot at the moment it is an absolute blast. All these are good fun and faster than most of the great games Already mentioned above. |

Another vote for the 1985(?)Arkham Horror! (I can't believe it's been mentioned so much.) I like it more than the newer version – less "serious", but a good challenge for the players. It kicks our butt on a regular basis but still a lot of fun. |

CTHULHU games are just fine. I just have most of them already : ) Like unspeakable words and the 1985 Arkham Horror game. Just looking for something different Duane |
