Fantastic figures, looking forward to adding them to my Northstar Austrians & Prussians.

Very much welcome, though I would like to see first the Prussian and Austrian ranges completed. Now they are lacking high command/generals, some cavalry types and some artillery pieces.

Not my thing, but great looking figures.

Every little helps as the saying goes but spot on with needing to add to the 1866 range as it's still incomplete.

BTW would anyone be able to tell me the going rate for the figure sculptor who did these 1864 figures? Would be good to get a price from them for some 1866 Saxons and Hannoverians.

BTW can anyone tell me who the figure sculptor is for these Danes?

Regards pricing for commissions would it be best to go direct to Northstar or the sculptor directly.

Grateful for any advice because it would be great to see some 1866 Saxons and Hannoverians or even some Bavarians in this scale given we've already got the 1866 Austrian and Prussian.

Plus didn't the Saxons take part in the early phase of the 1864 war or is that more a "what if"!!
Cheers

Saxons and Hannoverians were part of the Federal army that occupied Holstein. But the Danes evacuated without a fight.

I thought Battle Honors had some Saxons (http://oldglory15s.com/25mm-1859-66-70-Franco-Austrian-And-Franco-Prussian-War_c254.htm)

What about Irregular miniatures? They have a rather extensive 28mm range

Salford I believe the sculptor is Nick Collier.

Hi KTravols I bought a stack of BH 1866 Austrians and Saxons to use with my Wargames Foundry Prussians and French but they were to slight and out of proportion. To try and use them with Northstar to me wouldn't look right. Thanks for your advice.

I have the BH Saxons and Austrians ,and I think they fit in just fine as do I the proportions, but that is me ,The Austrians are slighter than Helion/Northstar.,but just have one brigade of each,I even have mirliton and Eureka mixed in.I am just happy to have Saxons. the problem is I bought these figures years before anything else existed .

Does anyone use the irregular miniatures figures they seem to have a full range however I can't judge the size of the figures from the photo's.
As the 1866 range seems to have been static since Helion bought it back, I assume North Star are producing these figures? It is a pity that there seems no push to finish the 1866 range.

Have been cleaning up my Northstar Danes in readiness for painting. Thankfully the figures don't need much cleaning but can anyone tell me in the Command figure set what is the crouching figure on the left in the picture at the start of this thread holding in his right hand?! In the figure I have it seems to be a stick of wood or is it a piece of artillery equipment. Sorry to seem a bit dense. Any advice would gratefully received.
Cheers
