In the Brigade Games South American Javaro Archers pack one miniature has some kind of chest plate. Any ideas what that is suppose to represent or what color it should be? |

Hard to tell exactly as the picture is rather small. I would paint it copper or gold and give it a leather fringe border. Just my 2 cents. |

If you post a link to a picture, it will make answering the question much easier. I would be astonished if the breastplate sculpted is made of metal, since the Jivaro were a pre-metal culture. |

They may have been pre-metal but that breastplate sure looks like it is either metal or hardened leather. Have you tried asking Lon at Brigade Games about it? He's normally very accommodating with queries about his figures. Jim |

I think I found it in a museum collection. It says 'bark cloth and feathers' for the Jivaro breastplate: link I just googled "Jivaro breastplate" for images. |
