Anyone have a good technique/recipe for handling the orange and black on the sashes? Thanks!

Buy small figures – then you can't see it anyway…

I can't find any pics of them that are helpful.

You saw this? Also not helpful on how to paint them.

Pics galore, but trying to emulate the alternating black/orange in 28mm hasn't worked well for me so far. I tried doing an off-color orange to mimic the effect as well, and meh.

I hate to say it, but that might be a detail I'd skip on 28s and smaller. Or maybe do two stripes instead of 4+.

Just paint a couple of stripes to give the illusion.

Paint the orange stripes and put black dots spaced evenly. Works for me

As Belgian Ray, and then drybrush silver over that. It takes the "sting" out of the black and orange.
