What scenarios . . . whether official or not . . . have you found to be good for three-or-more players? I have the Pulp Alley Rulebook, Perilous Island and Vice Alley . . . so you can refer to scenarios in those . . . OR . . . you can post links to multi-player Pulp Alley games that you have participated in or read about online. What are good multi-player scenarios? -- Jeff

We used "Smash & Grab" for 3 players: Police squad vs gangsters vs the Crimson Cult. Each had vehicles to enter a spacious museum and snag a relic. Nobody cooperated with anybody else and it was hilarious. We also did "Lagoon of Terror" with 5 different teams. This works best if most players do not know about the terror (We used Godzilla) and think they are doing another "Smash and Grab". Everybody races to the major plot point, then tries to outrun each other to get out of there. We have done other scenarios with four teams, but they all seemed to form alliances to survive. That's fun too. |

Hi Jeff, Most of my games would be multi-player. You can check them out here: link link link link link My favourite one that we've played recently: link Cheetor runs Pulp Alley sci fi, just superb looking games: link And here's one from someone else: At Death's Door, from Perilous Island: link Hope you find some inspiration amongst those! |

Jeff --- My favorite multi-player scenario from the basic rulebook is Lost Keys. We have played this scenario with up to 6 players on the table and it works great. In Perilous Island we noted the recommended number of players directly under the title of each scenario. Many of the scenarios in this campaign are designed for 2 to 4 players. My favorite is Soerabaja Manhunt. It also handles up to six players quite easily. Got to love the Red-Herring rule. :D In Vice Alley the recommended number of players is also noted for each scenario, directly under the title. Gang War, Crime Wave, and Social Affair are all designed for 2 to 4 players. And Social Affair could easily handle more. That's a really fun scenario if you're in the mood for something different. How many players are you planning to have? Let us know if you have other questions. HAVE FUN

Dave (and others), First, I thank you for your replies. I think that we will have 4 players including myself, one of whom will be playing his first game of "Pulp Alley". The others have only played once or twice. -- Jeff

Jeff -- That's great. With four players you really have lots of options. You can't go wrong with a good ol'fashion Smash & Grab or Lost Keys. If you want to spice things up, maybe try Soerabaja Manhunt (PI)or Crime Wave (VA). And Lagoon of Terror (PI)is always lots of fun. It is worth noting, the Pulp Alley rules play exactly the same whether you have 2 or more players. As written, it is intended to be played by 2 to 4 players …and sometimes more.
HAVE FUN
