More WWW2 than 40K but they could be used as proxies of the Guard, uh, Astra Militarum I guess. |

The guy in the slouch hat looks more like a Chindit (Burma) theatre Brit than anything in the US Forces – Sten gun ok, it might be an M3), British pattern basic pounches and not-a-Campaign-hat with a pugaree. |

Well in the Dust background, the factions (the Allies, The Axis and the Sino-Soviet Union)have more unified and integrated armies. Although the USMC is still supposed to be a primarily American organization (one of the few not fully integrated with troops from it's allies like the Rangers) it's not unheard of that they could be lead by a member of the British Commonwealth for a special mission. |
