I will speak the kiss of death to a dice roll ("JUST DON'T ROLL A ONE") as we all know it is doom for any dice roll, copy it and pass it on paper it still works, just think about it works too, and once on a roll the whole game will go to pot.

[Oh Dicey Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling......]

No, no, the accent confused you. It's "Oh Dicey boy, the pips, the pips are rolling..."

"Dice River" from the movie, "Breakfast at Brigade Games"

And didn't Judy Garland sing, "Somewhere, after the dice roll, pips are high, there's a game that I heard of where everybody dies..."

All Shook Up : Elvis Presley

Well, bless this roll – what's wrong with me..?
I need me a six but all I get is a three..
Who would have thought I'd have such luck.?

terrain sherlock13 Jan 2007 12:05 p.m. PST

Keep rollin', rollin', rollin',
Though they're disappointin',
Keep them dice a movin'
Ten-side!

Don't try to calculate 'em,
Just grab and throw and count 'em,
Soon you'll be rolling critic-alls.

Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em out,
Move 'em on, head 'em out Six-side!
Set 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, let 'em out,
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in Twenny-side.

rollin, rollin, rollin..
keep them dice a rollin..
Tennnn-side..!

Oh.. and that movie.. The Twelve Side Story..?

When you're a Six, you're a Six all the way..
from your first fum-ble, til all your pips fade away..

I like to roll in A-mer-i-ca..
Always a six is A-mer-i-ca
Never a one in America
Can't roll a three in America

terrain sherlock13 Jan 2007 12:58 p.m. PST

Over hand, under hand..
it don't matter how you stand..
for the dice will
keep rollin
along..

High or Low, face it, pal..
you will always fail morale..
for the dice will
keep rollin
along..

Well it's high, high, roll
for the dice we can't control..
(Shout out the number loud and strong.)
Till fuzzy breaks our square
We will always be aware
that those six-sides
are rolling
along.

At the game, in the night,
Action left or action right
See those six-sides
go rolling
along

General Lee, and Patton too,
Prepare to meet your Waterloo
as those six-sides
go rolling
along.

Well it's high, high, roll
for the dice we can't control..
(Pray for that number loud and strong.)
when Rourke's drift is Zulu-held
and Overlord repelled
then those six-sides
were rolling
along.

Was it high, was it low,
Where the hell did that one go?
As those six-sides go rolling along

Call green high or call it red,
either way you know you're dead
but those six-sides
keep rolling
along.

Well it's high, high, roll
for the dice we can't control..
(Shout out the number loud and strong.)
until our final game,
It will always be the same
those six-sides will
keep rolling
a one.

Ol' Man Die-Roll, that Ol' Man Die-Roll
He must know somepin', but he don't say nothin'
He just keeps rollin', he keeps on rollin' along

He don't paint figures
(they don't even get boughten)
And them what paints 'em
is soon forgotten
But Ol' Man Die-Roll,
jest keeps rollin' along

You and me, we paint and strain
Eyes all achin' and wracked with pain
Clean that flash and add that base
Buy a few figures and you're out
of space.

I'm tired of losin'
to the guys I play
and the rules we're usin'
I should read one day..
But Ol' Man Die-Roll,
he just keeps rollin'
along

Terrain Sherlock- I salute you for the six-sides keep rolling along.

I may have soiled myself, I laughed so hard. It would be a great "Official song of the Historical Miniatures Gaming Association." I may submit it in your name.
