I always read the posts of Cacique Caribe with interest. So not to be able to read them (again) after having missed his earlier remarks is a pity. I also do not agree with the often quoted "Bill's site, Bill's rules", because when you offer the possibility to enter a place you have to be careful about throwing someone out again. Although I agree to the fact that some guarding is necessary, I am afraid both the acts that are named "crimes" (;-)) and the following punishments are getting ridiculously harsh. Unfortunately any comments on this seems to fall on deaf ears, because I cannot see any result. If hoever this is not reality I will stand corrected…

So I not only support Tango's request for a pardon in this case, I would also plead for a more reasonable (more loosely ?) interpretation of things (words, sentences) that are used.

I agree, this is absurd. Free Cacique Caribe!!!

Oh, and Attica, Attica Attica!!! grin

It's probably a five-day sentence because it spans a weekend.

Rrobbyrobot20 Sep 2015 6:57 a.m. PST

So, are we to no longer quote movie lines? Maybe we should refrain from referencing movies at all. Of course, that would be ridiculous…

I read that as a joke, but then I've been doghoused for jokes too.

Context is everything, I guess.

I paid good money for MY Cacique Caribe, and I resent you guys asking for free ones.

John the OFM20 Sep 2015 9:11 a.m. PST

Seriously….
"Cheerleading" is a dumb excuse to DH anyone. How can you have an Ultramodern board without "cheerleading"?
This isn't a "fair and unbalanced" journalism reporting board. It leaps to opinion as soon as anything is posted.

Weasel20 Sep 2015 9:17 a.m. PST

Maybe we could have a poll about whether we should have a poll about it?

"…Unfortunately any comments on this seems to fall on deaf ears,…"

Well said my friend… but I remember not so while ago that we can free Kyoteblue for something similar (smile).

Bill, in that case, hear his members…

Why not now?

And that rule about the weekend… can we have a poll of that?… punishmen fellow members of the site on days when we are on hollydays and have more possibilities to access at the site sounds rude and silly.

5 Days for THAT…

Inkpaduta21 Sep 2015 10:29 a.m. PST

Have to agree didn't see what he wrote as being worth the DH.

jpattern221 Sep 2015 6:54 p.m. PST

Playing Devil's advocate, it's clear from the way Dan worded his post that he understands the no-cheerleading rule and knew he what he was doing.

Mako1121 Sep 2015 9:25 p.m. PST

Man, a shame it's come to this, and that people are so ultra-PC they can no longer take a joke.

Seinfeld is right about today's culture. Way too intolerant.

Weasel21 Sep 2015 11:54 p.m. PST

I mean, this is the website where we had to have a poll to decide if Holocaust denial was as bad as saying that CNN is silly.

So I dunno if "PC" is the problem or just general craziness.

(Also, Seinfeld should understand college kids pretty well, since he used to date one ;) )
