Thanks for the compliment, Armand, and thank you for your kind words etotheipi.
Armand: I posted about this myself 2 days earlier and I'm happy to say that thread I started is up to 20 posts -- though as usual several of them are my replies to other commenters. I didn't happen to cross-post it to "Terrain" only because I thought of it as more of a Battle Report/Scenario topic.
Here's a link to that thread in case anyone who visits this one is interested:

Meanwhile, thanks for being impressed enough to post about my layout under the "Terrain" topic.
Truth is pretty much every piece of terrain on the table has been posted and discussed by me here on TMP as I created them over the past several years now, so can't blame the readership too much for not banging down the door to leave comments on this thread… despite the terrain displayed being none-too-shabby, if I don't say so myself.
Just for the heck of it, here's a couple more pics I haven't posted anywhere else, this one showing some peaceful civilian activity prior to commencement of the battle…
And this one showing the view from the mountains at the North end of the table/battlefield, looking South over the Afghan positions towards Khairabad Village, just after it was taken from its Afghan defenders by the British (note the remnants of 3 tribal units routing North towards the mountains)…
