Sparker, Fantastic man, thanks for posting. A great looking fight, table, and minis, though you're killing me with no infantry ;) This is very inspirational, we'll see if it converts to motivation then action. Since I was a kid I've had a soft spot for the IDF, particularly their armored formations, paratroopers, and Air Force. What's kept me from gaming it is finding the right set of rules. I don't want the Israelis to simply be all-round supermen (and I'm certainly not accusing you or your rules of that), but to somehow reflect advantages in morale, leadership, command and control, and marksmanship. Thanks again for posting, great stuff and I hope to see more soon. V/R, Jack |

Still, it is a lovely little jet……. Thanks for sharing your battle report and pics too. Great looking tanks, even with all those burn markers in them! |

Thanks guys, very kind. Yes the Israelis do get a lot of useful special rules, but then so do the UAR. The Israelis have better intrinsic skill and motivation with Fate of A Nation, but then again are expensive in terms of points, probably at the right ratio. Seemed fair to me, anyway! My bad for no infantry and arty, and recon units played a big part in this action too…I just wanted to get the toys on the table asap, if I'm honest! |

I'm with ya about getting the toys on the table, just joking with you as a former infantryman ;) I may need to pick up the Fate of a Nation book and take a gander. V/R, Jack |

No worries mate! If you want lots of infantry action though, the Northern Command, Golan and Jerusalem, may be more your speed… |
