I am working on one for All Quiet on the Martian Front. Still in the planning stages so far.

No, always liked the landtrain concept for Squats in Epic unfortunately the execution was seriously sub-optimal (we were also promised mobile fortresses and armoured zeppelins – oh wait the squats got an airship as well).

The Amtrak wars version fascinated me for many years after I flicked through the guide to the series in a shop (I finally read the books only quite recently). I may yet do one for my 15mm sci-fi, but its along off sitting behind a backlog of mecha kits and superheavy tank conversions.

stew46a19 Sep 2015 12:24 p.m. PST

Yes, from Peter pig, for my RCW troops

gunnerphil19 Sep 2015 1:13 p.m. PST

No but am looking to do one for SCW

2 Armoured trains one German BP42/44 and one Polish one painted up as German as captured from the Russians, both in 6mm.

20mm RCW, still languishing unassembled and unpainted in the same boxes it arrived in.

No. I've been thinking of having a monorail civilian scifi train (mostly for a terrain piece) at some point but not likely to ever get/make an armoured one.

BlackWidowPilot Fezian19 Sep 2015 11:50 p.m. PST

Ya know, there's an idea, a sci-fi armored train…

Bill…. A Sci-Fi Armored Train?

Lion in the Stars21 Sep 2015 8:00 p.m. PST

Need a scifi train for an Infinity scenario out of the Paradiso campaign.

War Monkey21 Sep 2015 9:46 p.m. PST

I would like to add a monorail to my games, an Armored train would be interesting. I do have thoughts about a sci-fi fright train and fright station.

dandiggler23 Sep 2015 12:27 p.m. PST

Not yet, but since I've gotten into more interwar projects (20mm) again, I'm planning on it.

Patrick Sexton Supporting Member of TMP24 Sep 2015 8:37 a.m. PST

I have one (purchased from Brigade)for 'Back of Beyond' games but haven't worked out a good scenario for it…yet.

And I have an on again, off again 1/100 sci-fi armored train project on the table though it might more qualify as a rail cruiser than an entire train.

BlackWidowPilot Fezian24 Sep 2015 12:24 p.m. PST

Hmmmm… world being colonized that has a very hostile indigenous flora and fauna… have to traverse distances between terraforming settlements quickly and efficiently from the main star port especially delivering large supply shipments…. monorails therefore subject to routine assaults/hazards from local flora and fauna… evil grin
