A few years ago I picked up this aquarium decoration on sale to use for some gaming purpose, but had no specific plans. I put it aside, and never did anything with it. Then while reading the Frostgrave rulebook and about the many oddities that can be found in the ruined city, I got the idea to use the aquarium piece to make a shrunken domed city that floated eternally amidst the ruins of Forstgrave.

Thats brilliant! What a great idea. Is Frostgrave an RPG? This could open up all kinds of story arcs. Dont Know if you role play, but you could build an entire DnD campaign around that piece. What a cool find. Remeber kids: Throw NOTHING away! |

Very clever, Mr. Palmer. Well done. @warhawkwind: Frostgrave is a simple skirmish game set in the ruins of a once-great city of magic called Felstad. Many strange artifacts of great wonder and great power can be found there. (Like most fantasy worlds, what existed in the distant past is better than what contemporary societies can create. Wizards in Felstad's world cannot equal their long-dead predecessors in Felstad, which is why they are plundering the ruins. Both for knowledge and power.) Thank you all for the kind comments! Im glad you guys like it. Warhawkwind- no I don't currently play any RPGs, but I agree with your thoughts. Would be fun to do a whole adventure in finding the shunrken city, then another with the heroes needing to be shrunk and entering the city itself followed with a whole adventure inside thes shrunken city.

Didn't Superman have a shrunken city in his fortress of solitude? From Krypton, I think. Nice model! Bob |

Bob's absolutely right. And that's a great conversion. Full marks for thinking outside the square. Possibly the most original miniature I've seen all year. |

Very nice and thanks for the specs on it, they might work too for Aeronef or Mars too. |
