Used plastic bamboo from China via EBay.

I'll using Gorilla glue for my bamboo bases, but its not as easy as I had hoped.

Nice terrain

Have been experimenting with hot glue gun for gluing down plastic trees/bamboo as it dries very quickly. Gorilla glue was a disaster.

Can then put spackling or whatever down to cover up the hot glue and give it some strength

Maybe glue the trees in and then cover the base in a layer of filler deep enough to cover your hot-glue. Then flock the whole base. Just a thought.
