Here's a few shots from the large battle of Lepanto game ran at Pacifion as the Debut of Galleys Guns and Glory! We had 14 players and somewhere around 68 ships (some players brought their own ships to add to the fray).

The game went smashingly well, with the Turks doing great at the beginning of the engagement, but not able to hold the initiative due to the disruptive fire from the Galleas.

In the End the Turks had sunk, burned or captured 12 ships including one Galleas, and the Holy League had 22 with the last ship being the Turk's flag ship pretty much cut in half from a Galleas at point blank range! Great fun was had by all!

I did a small print run of the rules for the battle, and of course found several typos (you only find them after you print) and had a couple of suggestions from the players about how to better format some charts. I'm currently doing these things and will have the rules up for sale in a week or two, printers time being the modifier.

Did anyone lose a ship to the sea monster?

Glengarry5- sadly no, but I did make them roll a check for sea monsters as they crossed over it :)

That looks spectacular, the ships look great en masse. The second and third pictures in particular really show them off.

Looks great! Are you bringing this to the East Coast, ie; Fall-In or Cold Wars?

Very impressive!

DeRuyter- My campaign war chest says it will not carry me to Cold wars or Fall in this year(I'm in California- its a bit of a drive). Hoping for Historicon,and/or Salute next year.
