Kardashia has chosen to remain neutral on the issue, and to await developments, and any forthcoming tribute payments from those involved that seek international backing for their actions. Diamonds are preferred, but gold bullion will be happily accepted as well. |

In wholly unrelated news… Front Page of The Victoria Times: Marines Dispatched on "Exercise" Victoria, Austral (AP) Marines of the 6th Marine Battalion are boarding newly chartered Panamanian registered transports. Sources tell ANN that the unannounced exercise will take place off the African coast. Defense Force officials have refused to comment, except to state that the exercises were planned months ago. Force Commander Jonathan Urquhart, commander of the 6th Marine Battalion has confirmed that the marines are carrying live ammunition. "It would be most embarrassing if a war broke out and all we had were blanks and laser tag systems," he said. "Not that anyone expects a war to break out, of course," he added. |

Panamanian transports??? Oh, this may not end well, since Panama stopped requiring and performing vessel safety inspections after Noriega was captured and incarcerated. I shall be following further news events related to this subject, closely. |

In even more wholly unrelated news… Back Page of The Victoria Times: The Ladies Relief Club of East Upper Lower Shinford on Payne have just returned from visiting a group of young men departing for parts unknown. Said Lady Barbara Payne Assford, "Ohhh, those boys are all so lovely. We know they're going to be gone for a bit of a spell, so we thought we'd go pay them a visit and bring them all the comforts of home that they'll be missing for quite some time. We may not be in our prime, but between tea, crumpets and some goodies to enjoy when they get wherever they're going, we just gave them all the comfort and relief we had within us. As a matter of fact, Mrs. Goodbody personally saw to the comfort of seven of those strapping young lads at the same time. She's the real work horse for our group, since most our other members usually just like to lend a helping hand and a soft shoulder to lean on". |

It's just like Mrs. Goodbody to put herself out like that. Seems she's always good for a bit of crumpet. At least that's what I gleaned from the message board in thw loo of the Victoria bus station. |
