Does anyone have any idea when Alain Touiller miniatures will return? The website has been under construction for a while now and he does not respond to emails (en anglais ou en français).

Touller not Touiller

Probably "killed" by French bureaucratic collectivist mafia, not worth having a small biz in this country.

On French minis forum stated nearly a year ago having major health problems.

A real shame if true, because I bought some stuff from him a couple of years ago and they are really nice little figures. And, despite the occasional whinge on here about it, ordering from him was very easy (from Australia).

Jfrog.."collectivist mafia" you're so true..same thing on my country…recently being in France and talked to many people.the impression is also of a "real socialism" society spread in every domaine..including Paris Creperies.:-) …what a pity it was my favourite country..
well the Alain Touller miniatures are very nice..i've quite few of them from 28mm Vendée/French Repubblican range..compatible and well researche minis..i love them so much that i'm afraid to paint them..yeras ago i had a long telephone conversation with Alain..who is above all an artist..but a good boy…after many years i wrote him again asking about postage for italy ecc…and he promplty and kindly answered me..just saying me "c'est moi qui va s'occuper de tout..envoyez mois votre ordre"..i did'nt cause of my wallet..but i'll place an order as soon as i could…so i think you could just write him ..he is a reliable guy…

Yes a good man, not too biz minded though, I think he was living very close to Italy, if you are in the North could be worth going to pick up stuff.

From fr forum, I am pretty sure he still does some stuff for known people, occasionally. You might want to write him an old fashioned postal letter to ask. Pretty sure he will answer.
If he stopped because of the state mafias, he 'd want to keep it low profile.

France is still ok for tourism, as long you escape the heated periods of taxi etc. strikes, stoppages and gipsies cutting roads…
