I'm thinking of putting these two manufacturers together in the same army--15mm Medieval French with Lancashire Medieval. Would this be ok? If I wanted to mix them in units together would that be insane? Thanks.

Not insane.
There can be a bit of variety in the size of Lancashire figures, even in the same code, but that will a) help to mask size differences if with Museum if there are any and b) can represent natural variation.

There are some very nice figures in the Lancashire Feudal and Medieval ranges (and some rather ropey ones).

I can always count on you. Cheers Swampster.

I always find Museum miniatures slightly larger and stockier than Lancashire, as a rule.
