I have had a tough time finding information for gray triads. I'm tired of trying to mix grays in order to go back and highlight my basecoats and am going to throw in the towel and buy a few different gray triads for my Rebs. Any advice would be fantastic? FYI, a middle gray, light gray, and a gray with hint of light brown triads are what I'm looking for. Thanks! |

Try the websites for some of the companies. I think that P3 has a color chart for all of their paints on line. |

To narrow the Reaper line down a bit, greys with a bit of brown in them are 9085, 9086 and 9087 |

Look for the Reaper triad that includes Stone Grey as the middle color. It's a very nice brown-gray useful for shell jackets from some of the more western depots. |

Javier Gomez does triad-like painting using vallejo, though he mixes his colors: link He's pretty good about giving actual ratios, instead of just saying 'add white to make a highlight; Rich |

I'm going to need to play with the three triads (the Reaper stone gray and two Vallejos)bi received in the mail. The highlight tone in a few seem to have a LOT of contrast from the middle tone. |
