Looks great – but I wish it were 1/72nd frown

Thanks.
@ Igor..it came out in June this year (?) and so far Iīve only seen one other (half built and unpainted) example on the web.
@ 20th..me too, but it would be a huge kit in 1/72nd…about meter Long (?) This small version weighs a lot, mainly due to the columns. Iīve put it on my list of possible scratch builds.
Just found out (not on the Italeri site but from a model seller) itīs 1:250 scale. Thereīs no scale mentioned on the box or the instruction booklet..or itīs written in Miniscule print or in invisible ink…or both.

So it is 1:250 scale. That makes it difficult to use with most things.

What size is the hoplite standing in front of it?

It might be good for 10mm fantasy stuff, or 6mm.

Pauls Bods15 Sep 2015 11:34 a.m. PST

The Hoplite is from the caeser Hoplite set..around 23.5 mm tall. Iīve worked out that for a 1/72nd scale model of the parthenon it would be just short of a meter in length..

Ooh…1:250.

That's 6mm near enough !
