Found in MR Bns towing Mortars or Vasiljeks. Each looked slightly different from the rear if rather than being towed the weapon system was loaded into the rear. Tally Ho! |

The Vasilek portee had a canvas extension at the rear of the tilt, so might be worth including that as an option? |

That's easy to model. Question is it worth it? Hmmm |

Another one you might be interested in for your VDV is the airborne version, which had a cut-down cab and folding windscreen. There was also the BM-21V Grad-V, which was a 12-tube 122mm MRL mounted on the GAZ-66. |

Seems like the GAZ airborne model once on the ground and the cab erected looked just like any other model. Im not sure how true this is, however it sort of takes away the need for a separate model. |

Cool. I've not seen a decent photo of one – just line drawings in the 'fascinating' manual of Soviet softskin recognition… A guaranteed cure for insomnia. Was it a hard cab then? I thought it was a folding canvas job. |

Half and half as it were – there's a small canvas tilt, but the doors and windscreen are normal construction:
