Tomorrow night we will have a playtest of my new "Fury on the Lakes" rules with a Canadian/British raid on the port of Oswego, NY. All minis 1/600.

Looking forward to it – Alternate Historical naval is always an intriguing subject :)

Yep, also looking forward to it. I love Avalanche's Navy Plan Crimson, but definitely interested in other takes on the subject.

Go Canada!

(though Oswego is a pretty nice river town nowadays)

Sounds quite promising. I'm not normally a naval gaming type, but the alternate history is a strong draw and I'm always looking to expand my horizons. I have a love/hate relationship with Mr. Turtledove's writing style (which can be a tad formulaic), but at the end of the day I'd say I'm a fan. Just to clarify, we're looking at a November 2016 release for your system? The top of the page lists it as such but the end of the AAR is a bit more ambiguous when it says "This is on track for a November release.". Overly optimistic thinking on my part? grin

No. The first set of minis are done and it will be a PDF release so no pre-release printing needed. I just have to make some changes and continue to populate the ship data.

November 2016 is still the target date.

Awesome, thanks for clarifying! I'll be following the project with interest.

Very interesting, and the ship models look great!
