What is it made out of? Styrene? Looks very good. Like the lift method approach. |

Thanks guys! It's mostly styrene sheet and strips of various thicknesses and patterns, some styrene sprue oddments, and the grating is 0.35mm stainless steel mesh. |

Out of curiosity, how do you glue styrene sheet together? Doesn't super/crazy glue melt that stuff? |

It's high impact styrene, the same as plastic miniatures and model kits. Mostly I used the Revell plastic cement which does work by melting the surface, but on smaller parts like the gun carriages and guns (which are done but not shown yet) I used superglue. It doesn't melt the plastic, which is good for tiny bits you don't want to melt away detail on. Thanks for the interest! |
