Interesting, I've got quite a number of Takara WTM models, but haven't been keen on messing with them.

I have felt that way with my CanDo models as the paint job is much better and they are harder and more expensive to buy. The Takara versus sets were easy and cheap to get hold of when I started and so been happy to enhance. I am doing the other ones now – expect for the rarer ones which I sold off and replaced (e.g grehoud with the Arrowhead version)

When they were available I bought 5 platoon packs (5 tanks per pack) from the US based Arclight version of WTM. They all came painted dark yellow and I ended up repainting them.

good job. The plain sand versions are a nice base to do a camouflage pattern

Both the snow and camo'd ones above look really great!

I like the addition of the tracks to the turrets. Makes them look a bit more realistic.

Wish someone would produce a sprue of those for customizing.

And Scale Specialists make some great decal sheets for them

may be not common but I did find some pictures of Panthers – photos of actual Panthers that is – with the cross there. I don't have any small enough for the side near the front which is the more common

For some of the smaller items take a look at decals for 6mm stuff!
