As Mel Brooks said it's all about "The Schwartz", meaning FAO Schwartz, the toy store. |

jowady you might not know this but FAO Schwartz doesn't excist anymore that store closed earlier this year. There used to be an FAO Schwartz in San Francisco but it closed many years ago but I have to say it was one of the best toy stores I've ever been to, |

they make a small fan propelled milleneum falcon too. Two versions of that; one uses one prop (and has a big ugly hole that's pretty much the entire fuselage). The other is a quad copter, with four somewhat less obtrusive holes; it's more expensive, too. They also make a ducted fan RC X-Wing, which I picked up. Haven't flown it yet, but can't wait. Alas, the laser cannons have to be removed to fly it (and it has a transparent canard wing), but otherwise it's a nifty little model of an X-wing. |

They closed the 5th Avenue Store but FAO Schwartz is still in business; link |

Yay, micromachines are back. The t-65s and y-wings are identical to the last lot they put out (I have the new stuff and a collector set lot (9 ships in one box) from the old stuff). Which is to say the falcon, slave 1, star destroyer are ALL way out of scale to the x-wings. |

I have lots of the old Star Wars Micro Machines so getting these new ones will be fun as well! I hope there is more to come and not some flash in the pan! |
