The Tau titan looks ridiculous. It wants to be the SDF-1.

I think they missed a few areas where they could squeeze in more weapons…

The top 3 guns and the hip weapons are too much. without them, the titan would look a bit less ridiculous but when all is said and done, it looks just like an oversized battlesuit.

I would have preferred to see some form of multi-legged tank instead.

Agreed. As it is, all you have to do is get into medium range and it can't even see you (based on that little head set waaaay back)

It really just looks like any other anime mecha. I think GW has enough talent on hand that they could have done something a little more creative.

Thing is nearly all of the creative individuals that GW have left the company and are working elsewhere.

AWSOMIUM (tm) Imperitor Titan and Mega- Gargamt special rules:
Own The Field:
Owner of AWSOMIUM (tm) model chooses board side regardless of senerio rules, and places model on back edge of deployment zone. Disregard any and all terrain considerations/ restrictions
Stand Agast! :
Roll to see who goes first. If AWSOMIUM(tm) model owner wins iniative proceed straight to shooing phase. If opponant wins iniative all models/ units/ special characters, are immiedaty affected by Stand Agast! and and can take no actions whatsoever as they are struck senseless but the presence of the mighty Titan/ Gargant. They then lose iniative and pass iniative back to Titan/ Gargant player. All other models are affected regardless of normal or special phycology rules
Lay Down The GodSmack:
Titan/Gargant player now lays down the AGS 4'x6' annialator Template and rolls to hit. Weapons automaticly hit everything under the template on a role of 3+ on 2D6. On a roll of 2 shot scatters 1D6. Place template and continue as normal.
All models/terrain under template except firing model are immiedaty destroyed and removed from the battlefield,regardless of armor, hits/ structure points shields fields or saves.
Devastating Blast Wave:
Any models not under AGS template or in reserves( even if deployed by teleportation) are immiedaty and utterly wiped out by the DBW (see preceding rule)
Lame Duck:
Any AWSOMIUM (tm) Titan/ Gargant who is equipped with less than a full compliment of weapons/ arms/ head cannot use any prior special rules ands is unable to target/ move / fire any weapons and is considered to be shut down for the duration of the battle acting as obscuring/ blocking terrain.
There Can Be But One:
If two or more AWSOMIUM(tm) models are on the Battlefield at once and are both/ all fully equipped ( if not see preceding rules) add up the strength/ AP ratings of all weapons and utterly destroy the model with the weaker total! All things being equal … The Imperator wins well, because we say so.
BAM I WIN!:
Winning player must now declare "Blam I Win! AWSOMIUM! ( tm)
